He's not really in one of the banned Obree positions though. Obree's first banned position had his hands tucked up under his chest, his second banned position had his arms fully extended.
You gave me a fun reason to go back and review his history. You are totally right. I think the way forward seat position and kind of crunched up arm position are what reminded me of it.

Funny how even with the UCI rules they still emulate the Grahm Obree bike positions. Legal bike pushed to give the rider an Obree position.
